Avery Magnus

Avery Magnus, during the demonic siege on humanity, Avery was captain of a small regiment of paladins roaming the abyssal wastes that were once lush forests and farmlands.
After being forced to retreat due to being immensely outnumbered, he wandered the wastes.

This is where he found the lost band of ex-demon slayers and formed the survivalist group known as the Shadowsand Reavers. Hidden within the desert waste environment, they hunt down demons that come their way and use guerrilla-warfare tactics.

Upon defeating a demon, in order to survive, they salvage EVERYTHING, being its hide and bones for repairing armor, weapons, and even food.
